We are industry working for industry.

VisitDundee was set up by Dundee tourism industry representatives to provide independent, private sector marketing support to our fellow businesses and organisations that operate in the Dundee area.

We are a non-profit social enterprise that works to promote Dundee as a fantastic short break destination and we believe that visitors have so much to discover when they stay a little longer in our cool wee City.

Paul formed VisitDundee in 2018 and has Chaired the organisation since then. Having moved to Dundee in 2001 he is a strong advocate for the city and passionate about community. His work as a management consultant sees him working with a diverse range of clients having also delivered support for HMS Unicorn and the planned International Centre for Comics. Dr. Paul Jennings has worked in the tourism industry for over twenty-four years. During that time he has led eight different visitor attractions including Dundee Science Centre, Discovery Point and Verdant Works. As an experienced non-executive Director Dr. Jennings has served on the boards of Angus and Dundee Tourist Board, the Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions and Destination Dundee, amongst others.

Sarah is Head of Operations at Dundee Rep Theatre and brings a vast knowledge from working in the festival and events sector.

Dale has been in the hospitality industry for over 15 years and with Malmaison Dundee since 2019. Prior to that he worked for Radisson hotels and was involved in the opening of their first Hotel Missoni in 2009 before moving to their Radisson Blu brand in 2013 as an Operations Manager. His first GM role was with the 5* G&V Royal Mile Hotel in Edinburgh and in 2016 he joined the head offie Corporate Director of Food & Drink based in Brussels. It was here that he was tasked with assisting in opening the world's first Radisson RED in Brussels. In January 2017, he moved to Cape town after receiving the opportunity to open the first Radisson RED in Africa.

Diana is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS). She has significant experience in the private and charity sectors. Diana is an audit partner with Henderson Loggie where she is head of the Tourism and Hospitality. With close links to Dundee for over a century Henderson Loggie work collaboratively with businesses to encourage growth and bring vibrancy to the city.

Keith represents the University of Dundee on the Board of Visit Dundee, reflecting the close relationship between the University and the city. The University has played a leading role in the establishment of major initiatives in Dundee such as the V&A Dundee and will also be deeply engaged in the forthcoming Eden Project Dundee. Dr Keith Dinnie is Head of the Management and Marketing discipline at University of Dundee School of Business (UDSB). He is one of the world’s leading authorities on place branding at city, regional and national levels and has been invited to deliver keynote speeches at many international conferences around the world. He is the author of the ground-breaking book Nation Branding: Concepts, Issues, Practice (Routledge), which has been translated into Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The third edition of the book will be published in late 2021. He is also the editor of City Branding: Theory and Cases (Palgrave Macmillan).

Manny Baber is the General Manager of the Sleeperz Hotel in Dundee. The 120-bedroom design led hotel became an addition to Dundee’s hotels sector in 2018 and is part of the £1b waterfront regeneration program. As a Hotel General Manager, he specialises in identifying opportunities for commercial success for the business in Dundee’s growing hospitality scene. He is personally involved and supports initiatives with the Dundee and Angus Convention Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce. He is passionate about people development and is committed to developing a workforce for the future of Dundee by being actively involved in various local educational establishments mentoring programmes and is a board member for DYW. Manny has over 25 years of experience in hospitality including 12 years at senior operational level with Hilton Hotels. Originally from Glasgow, his career has taken him to some of the most beautiful and remotest parts of Scotland, through various major UK cities and a short spell in the Middle East. Eager to return home, he has finally settled in Scotland’s sunniest city, Dundee and would not have it any other way.

Mike is currently Chair of the Business Events Development Group in Dundee, but with a career spanning over 30 years working in hotel brands such as Swallow and Hilton he brings a huge amount experience and knowledge to the VisitDundee Board. Mike has always engaged his hotels with their local business economy. For a period of seven years Mike was Chair of the Dundee & Angus statutory Tourist Board where an Ambassadors Program was first launched linking business events with the growing academic research institutes in Dundee. The program was relaunched by the Dundee & Angus Convention Bureau in 2019 as the current Pathfinders Program. These roles have helped Mike develop relationships that have been beneficial to his business and have allowed him insight and input into shaping the local tourist economy.

Stuart is the main contact for VisitDundee and constantly engages with the local business community to make sure that, through VisitDundee's marketing, industry is working to support industry. With experience in the hotel, restaurant and bar industry in Aberdeen, Stuart relocated to Dundee in 2010 and has served as the Dundee & Angus Visitor Accommodation Association (DAVAA) Secretary since 2016. He also sits on the Board of the Angus Tourism Cooperative
