What’s On in Dundee this November

You can’t beat some Beatlemania

Soak up some of the best pop songs of the 20^th Century as one of the top Beatles tribute acts perform here in Dundee. Playing a stunning repertoire of classic Beatle tracks, The Magic of the Beatles transport fans back to the 1960s as they look and sounds just like John, Paul, George and Ringo. Saturday gigs return to Verdant Works

Back by popular demand, the Verdant Works are restarting their weekly Saturday gigs. The first one is on Saturday 26^th November with Vladimir McTavish. A winner of the Scottish Comedy Award for Lifetime Achievement, Vladimir is one of Scotland’s best comedians always getting laughs through his brilliant observational comedy and topical satire. How much do you know about plastic?

The V&A’s latest exhibition is another one to provoke thought about something we use every single day – often probably without giving it too much thought. Plastic: Remaking Our World takes you through the history and future of this man-made material, from it’s beginnings as something ingenious to the consequences of its impact. One of the most magical stories ever told is coming to Dundee Rep this month as a new musical adaption of Cinderella arrives for the festive season. From Saturday 26^th November – Saturday 31^st December, this very special fairytale with a modern-day twist is set to enchant people of all ages. To find out more, click here.

Christmas is coming…

Even though Christmas seems like a wee while away still, Winterfest is on its way, bringing with it an array of festive attractions and activities for all the family to enjoy. Running in the city’s Slessor Gardens from Friday 25^th November – Sunday 1^st January, Winterfest features craft stalls, food stalls, a vintage funfair, a traditional Bavarian bar and a full-scale ice-rink.
